Do you refund or exchange items?
NBD Cosmetics sells natural personal use products and is therefore unable to refund or exchange any item once it has been shipped. We make every effort to provide the information you need to make an informed purchase on our product pages. Please read them carefully before making your purchase. If we err and send the wrong order consider that our free gift and we will re- ship the correct order at our expense.
What does the statement “do not use during pregnancy” mean? Aren’t your products natural?
Natural does not necessarily mean safe especially for the pregnant woman. This statement is used when an essential oil or groups of essential oils is more than 2% of the total weight or volume (Indulgence= 3.5%). Research has shown that certain essential oils should not be used during pregnancy, though no documentation exists of adverse effects resulting from their use.
Why do you use preservatives in a natural product?
Some ingredients spoil very quickly and without the preservative you would not be able to enjoy your body care treat for very long. So a very small amount of preservative (always 1% or less) is added to ensure it has not grown mold or bacteria before you finish using it.
Are your products hypoallergenic?
It is always advisable to perform a patch test when using any product. Apply a small amount of the product to an exposed area of skin. If itching and redness occur, rinse it off immediately and discontinue use of the product. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, please read the label before making a purchase.
